Itinerary

Day 1: Kolkata/Kunming/Beijing MU 556 0030/0500 Kunming/Beijing – by domestic flight

Fly to China, transit from Kunming, arrive at Beijing Capital Int’l Airport, airport pick up with our English-speaking airport representative, only transfer to hotel and take a rest. Free on your own at the rest of the day. No meal

Day 2: Beijing

Breakfast at hotel, 1000a.m. Departure from Hotel, start City tour. visit the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved of all the imperial palace gardens, and boasts such delights as the ‘Marble Boat’ and the ornately painted’ Long Corridor’. Pearl shop. Visit to the world famous Tian’anmen Square the biggest square in the world that lies in the center of the city. Visit the Forbidden City from which the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties governed for over 500 years. Option: Hutong tour, which is also called Rickshaw Tour. Visit Houhai, is a lake and its surrounding district in central Beijing, one of the three parts of Shichahai. In recent years it has become famous for nightlife because it is home to many popular restaurants, bars, and cafes.The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing, but is also often visited by the expatriate community and younger locals. Option: Kongfu show in the evening. 2030p.m. Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. Breakfast + Indian Dinner

Day 3: Beijing

Breakfast at hotel, 1000a.m. Departure from Hotel, start City tour. Visit the fabled Great Wall-Juyong Pass, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive defensive structure built to keep off intrusion. Visit a Longdi Jade shop where we will learn about Chinese jade culture. Afternoon proceed to see the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium outside) and the Water Cube (Outside). Yaxiu market shopping at leisure. Option: Acrobatic show 2030p.m. Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. Breakfast + Chinese Lunch in Great Wall+ Indian dinner

Day 4: Beijing/Shanghai-by high speed train 2nd class soft seat

Morning take train to Shanghai, if hotel has packed breakfast, we will request for guest, upon arrival, airport pick up and transfer to hotel. 1400p.m. Departure from Hotel, transfer to city tour: Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. Visit Tea shop, Option program: Foot massage Visit the People Square and Nanjing Road for shopping, Option program: Shanghai Madame Tussauds wax museum Option program:1900pm-2100pm Evening visit Xintiandi, is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai, China. It is composed of an area of reconstituted traditional shikumen (“stone gate”) houses on narrow alleys, some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls. Most of the cafes and restaurants feature both indoor and outdoor seatings. Xintiandi has an active nightlife on weekdays as well as weekends, though romantic settings are more common than loud music and dance places. It is considered one of the first lifestyle centers in China. Xintiandi is the location of the site of the first congress of and the Communist Party of China, now preserved at the Museum of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. 2100pm Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. 2230pm back to hotel. Day 5: Shanghai

Breakfast at hotel, 1000a.m. Departure from Hotel, start City tour. the Shanghai Museum which is the largest museum of ancient Chinese art in Shanghai. Visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden-outside look nine zig zag bridge with golden fish pond, bridges and pavilions. Step onto Yu Market (Old City God’s Temple), which is a major yet relatively inactive, Taoist temple in Shanghai. Option program :Shanghai Aquarium after 1600 p.m. Visit the Oriental Pearl TV tower 2nd level. Explore the Bund in the evening. Option program: Huangpu River Cruise. 2030p.m. Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. Breakfast + Indian Dinner

Day 6: Shanghai/Kunming – by domestic flight Kunming/Kolkata – by Int’l flight MU 555 2355/2340

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to airport, fly to Kunming arrive Kunming, pick up from airport with our English-speaking guide, transfer to have Indian lunch, then we will visit the fresh flower market , half day shopping and sightseeing, later we will go to the Luo Si Wan Market for shopping as leisure. After that, we will visit the Green Lake Park, evening transfer to airport for departure flight. Breakfast+ Indian Lunch
