Itinerary
Day 1:India/Shanghai– by Int’l flight
Fly to Shanghai, airport pick up with our English-speaking airport representative, only transfer to hotel and take a rest. Free on your own at the rest of the day. No meal
Day 2: Shangha
Breakfast at hotel, 1000a.m. Departure from Hotel, start City tour. Visit silk shop, the Shanghai Museum which is the largest museum of ancient Chinese art in Shanghai. Silk Shop and Jade shop; Visit the People Square and Nanjing Road for shopping Visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden-outside look nine zig zag bridge with golden fish pond, bridges and pavilions. Step onto Yu Market (Old City God’s Temple), which is a major yet relatively inactive, Taoist temple in Shanghai. Explore the Bund in the evening. Option program: Foot Message Visit the Oriental Pearl TV tower 2nd level Option program: Huangpu River Cruise 2000p.m. Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel.
Day 3: Shanghai-xitang-Shanghai by car
Breakfast at hotel, Departure from Hotel, transfer to Xitang on time. Xitang is level, densely distributed with rivers and has a very quiet natural environment. There are many well-preserved architectural groups constructed during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Xitang is a water town crisscrossed by nine rivers. The town stretches across eight sections, linked by old-fashioned stone bridges. In the older parts of town, the buildings are set along the banks of the canals, which serve as the main transportation thoroughfares in the area. Xitang also contains numerous antique residences and temples, such as the Temple of the Seven Masters. The town keeps a tranquil ambience and scenic beauty, making it a very popular tourist attraction. Through a bird’s-eye view of the whole town, green waves ripple everywhere and every family resides near water. We will also take boat ride to enjoy the beautiful scenery there. 1600p.m. Back to Shanghai. Option program:1900pm-2100pm Evening visit Xintiandi, is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai, China. It is composed of an area of reconstituted traditional shikumen (“stone gate”) houses on narrow alleys, some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls. Most of the cafes and restaurants feature both indoor and outdoor seatings. Xintiandi has an active nightlife on weekdays as well as weekends, though romantic settings are more common than loud music and dance places. It is considered one of the first lifestyle centers in China. Xintiandi is the location of the site of the first congress of and the Communist Party of China, now preserved at the Museum of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. 2100pm Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. 2230pm back to hotel.
Day 4: Shanghai
Breakfast at hotel, 1000a.m. Departure from Hotel, start City tour. 12:00am depart for visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. Visit pearl shop. Taobao city for Shopping Option: Acrobatic show, Chinese traditional cultural show 2000p.m. Transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner and then return back hotel. Breakfast+ Indian dinner
Day 5: Shanghai/India -by Int’l flight
Breakfast at hotel, free leisure and check out before 12:00am. only transfer to airport to get Int’l flight, option: Maglev Train one way on the way to Pudong Airport. Breakfast
